SmallCart exhibits Information Technology Capabilities to Businesses at LA’s Largest Mixer

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Los Angeles—SmallCart Systems, a nationally recognized IT consulting firm based in Los Angeles, will be exhibiting at L.A.’s Largest Mixer, Southern California’s largest networking event, on July 23, 2009 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center.

SmallCart Systems will be among the more than 250 exhibitors showcasing their services to an estimated 3,000 influential business owners in the greater L.A. area. The event will expose business owners to a multitude of services and industries that help them better manage their businesses.

“This event is a very valuable business tool and networking opportunity,” said Pat Clark, Membership Manager, Los Angeles Area Chamber. “Some groups have begun to plan for it well in advance because it allows them the opportunity to meet new contacts, businesses and members from neighboring communities such as Long Beach, the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica.”

SmallCart Systems will be demonstrating how companies of any size can incorporate information technology planning for customer support as well as internal management of servers, software and hardware. SmallCart specializes in Information Technology Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL), a framework that tells a business how best to organize their IT departments. SmallCart helps companies improve upon and refine their existing information technology process. That could include setting up a back-up server in case of disaster or helping companies improve their customer support centers.

Focused on improving existing enterprise service support and delivery processes through best practice consultation and software tool implementation, SmallCart is trusted by many Fortune 500 companies.

“We will be at L.A.’s Largest Mixer to showcase how our consulting services can benefit not only large information technology departments, but smaller technology departments as well,” said SmallCart CEO Jon Unger. “Our services have shown to reduce operational technology costs up to 40 percent in many larger organizations. Saving on expenditures in technology means a lot to small businesses.”

The event is sponsored by: Chambers of Commerce: Arcadia, Boyle Heights, California Junior, Century City, Covina, Culver City, East Los Angeles, Greater El Sereno, Greater Lakewood, Greater San Fernando, Hollywood, Irwindale, LA Junior, La Verne, Long Beach Area, Los Angeles Area, Miracle Mile, Pasadena, Regional Black, Regional Chamber of San Gabriel Valley, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Southern California Black, United Chambers of the San Fernando Valley, Universal City/North Hollywood, West Hollywood, and West Los Angeles.
