As a complementary, yet standalone solution to Backup Exec for Windows Servers, Backup Exec System Recovery provides an excellent growth opportunity for Symantec partners in two areas: existing Backup Exec customers who are seeking a system recovery solution, and customers running competitive products for data recovery and are looking for a system recovery solution. Additionally, partners can increase revenue in each deal by adding the Granular Restore Option which provides granular recovery of Exchange messages, SharePoint documents or files and folders from a single interface and by cross-selling with Symantec Endpoint Protection. You can also add services to each sale by offering to copy your customers' backups to your FTP location providing them with offsite disaster recovery capabilities. For customers with multiple servers, a centralised management option is available that allows the partner or the customer to manage multiple devices in multiple sites from a single console.
